Larry Silverman (20th Century) American, Hand Cut Teak and Etched 3/4 Inch Starphire Glass Desk. Ringling School of Fine Art Graduate. He specialized in etched glass. This is the only desk he ever made. Contemporary bespoke coffee table characterized by its architectural mixture of thick, warm-toned wood pillars and a geometric frosted glass body. The design features a transparent top surface that reveals intricate, etched square motifs, blending modern clean lines with decorative industrial flair.

Comes Disassembled. Top Glass, Front Glass, Left Side, Right Side, 1 wooden Support on left, 1 wooden support for right.

By reducing iron content by roughly 90%, this glass achieves up to 91% light transmission and remains crystal clear even in heavy thicknesses, making it the "gold standard" for high-end architectural applications like luxury storefronts, museum displays, and frameless shower enclosures where true-to-life color rendition is critical. Beyond aesthetics, it maintains the same structural durability, hardness, and scratch resistance as standard glass, but distinguishes itself visually with a signature azure blue edge instead of a dark green one.
