Leonid Afremov (1955-2019) Belarusian/Israeli, Embellished Giclee. Titled "Farewell to Anger". Signed lower right, pencil signed on back of canvas. Dated 2007, on verso.
A beautiful and brightly colored impressionist piece depicting a couple walking on an autumnal road. Unframed.
Size: 22 x 35 x 2 1/2 in.
Leonid Afremov (1955-2019) was a Belarusian-Israeli artist celebrated for his vibrant palette knife paintings that blended impressionistic technique with a modern, expressive style. Working primarily in oils, he developed a distinctive approach using thick, textured strokes of vivid color to create luminous cityscapes and dreamlike reflections of light and rain. Afremov's art resonated widely for its emotional warmth and accessibility, appealing to viewers across cultures. Having emigrated from Belarus to Israel and later to Mexico, he built a large international following primarily through online sales, bypassing the traditional gallery system.
