Marcel Mouly (1918-2008) French Limited Edition Expressionist Lithograph Print Interior Scene. Vibrant expressionist lithograph depicting an interior view looking toward a bright window, where two seated figures are framed by bold blocks of color and a foregrounded vase of flowers. Signed lower right, attributed verso. Numbered 31/300. Framed.

Marcel Mouly (1918–2008) was a French painter, printmaker, and sculptor associated with the School of Paris and known for his vibrant, expressive style that blended elements of Cubism with lyrical color. Born in Paris, Mouly was largely self-taught and began exhibiting in the 1940s, quickly gaining recognition for his bold compositions of still lifes, landscapes, and figures. Influenced by artists such as Pablo Picasso and Henri Matisse, his work featured strong linework, flattened forms, and luminous palettes that conveyed both structure and spontaneity. Over a career spanning more than six decades, Mouly produced thousands of paintings, lithographs, and ceramics, and his work was exhibited internationally, establishing him as a notable figure in postwar modern French art.
