Milo Winter Jr. (1913-2002) American, Oil on Canvas Impressionist Garden Landscape. Impressionistic oil painting by Milo Winter Jr. captures a lush, vibrant garden scene featuring a manicured lawn, a stone walkway, and a dense, colorful array of blooming flowers nestled against a backdrop of trees and shrubbery. Signed lower right. Framed.

Milo Winter Jr. (1913–2002) was an American painter active in the mid‑20th century, known for his landscape and still life works that blend postwar and contemporary sensibilities. Born in Chicago into an artistic family—his father was the noted illustrator Milo Winter Sr.—Winter Jr. grew up immersed in art and went on to develop a career marked by richly detailed oil paintings, watercolors, and works on paper that often surfaced at auctions in the U.S. His oeuvre includes still lifes of fruit, landscapes, and whimsical figurative pieces such as A Fairy Knitting, and his work continues to be collected and sold, with prices at times reaching into the low thousands at auction, reflecting ongoing interest in his postwar output.
