Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) Spanish, Limited Edition Lithograph Print "Jacqueline". Stylized, white-on-black portrait of Picasso's wife with vibrant blue accents, presented in a black mat and a wide silver-toned frame. Numbered 4/25 lower left. Signed lower right. Framed.

Pablo Picasso (1891-1973) was a Spanish painter, sculptor, and one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, best known for co-founding the revolutionary art movement known as Cubism. Born on October 25, 1881, in Málaga, Picasso demonstrated extraordinary artistic talent from a young age and went on to produce thousands of works across various styles and mediums. His career evolved through distinct periods, including the melancholic Blue Period and the warmer Rose Period, before he helped pioneer Cubism with works like Les Demoiselles d’Avignon. Throughout his long life, Picasso remained highly innovative, influencing countless artists and shaping modern art until his death on April 8, 1973, in Mougins.
