Pair of large Chinese bowls with a mark on the underside of one, and a teal underside on the other. The mark in old seal style reads 大清乾陵年制 “Great Qing (dynasty) made in the reign of Qianlong” (1736-1795). Reign marks are often used in replicating styles of earlier periods and in the absence of evidence to the contrary should not be taken as indicating the date of production.
Light rim on the edges of the top, and light purple on the edges of the bottom with a floral motif and a scalloped rim. The size of each bowl is 7 x 11 in.
