The Wm. B. Durgin Co. was a highly esteemed American sterling silver manufacturer, celebrated for its exceptional quality and significant contributions to American decorative arts. Founded by William B. Durgin in 1853, the company distinguished itself through its unwavering commitment to solid sterling silver and its production of influential designs, such as the widely popular Fairfax flatware pattern.
