Two 20th century Inuit carved stone figures of animals. Includes a figure of a dog (or bear) from Whale Cove hamlet, Kivalliq Region, and a figure of a seal. Dog signed in syllabics at side (n.d), retains paper label and original 1970's purchase receipt from "Eskimo Art Inc" in Ann Arbor, MI that cite artist as "Nikki" (n.d.), seal is unsigned. Minor surface wear. Up to 8" long and 4" high. ESTIMATE $200-300
