Two 20th century Inuit carved stone sculptures. Includes an assemblage on a shaped base depicting a woman and with bowl and bone spoon from the Nanook Group, Clyde River, and a carved bust of a man by Jobie Inukpuk (Inuit, Port Harrison/Inukjuak, 1934-1983). Assemblage signed in syllabics at underside and retains original "Canadian Eskimo Art" Igloo tag citing artist as "Pauloosie" (n.d.), bust signed with "E9-880" disc number at underside and retains a paper label citing artist as "Jobie" with original 1970's purchase receipt from "Eskimo Art Inc." in Ann Arbor, MI. Bowl from assemblage repaired with broken dowel attachment, minor surface wear. Up to 7 1/2 x 6 1/4" high overall. ESTIMATE $300-500
