- Lot Description
Attributed to Alashua Aningmiuq, Inuit (Nunavut, Cape Dorset), 1914-1972. A mid 20th century carved Serpentine figure of a mother with a child at her back. Unsigned, retains paper labels at back with original 1970's purchase receipt from "Eskimo Art Inc." in Ann Arbor, MI citing artist as "Alashua". Minor wear. 9" high. ESTIMATE $300-400
