A Chinese carved root figure of a Foo Dog. Female guardian figure depicted with multiple cubs on a separate carved root base. Includes 1967 purchase documents from "City of Shanghai" importation shop in San Francisco, CA. Minor wear to finish, some shrinkage and small repairs. Approx. 21 x 12 x 22 1/2" high overall. ESTIMATE $800-1,200
