- Lot Description
A Civil War Period Model 1840 cavalry saber made by German manufacturer Gebruder Weyersberg of Solingen. Known as the "Wrist Breaker" features a triple branch Brass guard and pommel with a wire wrapped leather grip. Impressed Weyersberg's Rooster mark at ricasso. Some wear, nicks and pitting overall, scabbard with oxidation. 43 3/4" long overall. ESTIMATE $200-400
