A 20th century Inuit carved Serpentine sculpture of a female head from the Cape Dorset (Kinngait) hamlet, Qikiqtaaluk Region, Canada. Retains original "Canadian Eskimo Art" Igloo tag citing artist as "Pookalook" (n.d.), also includes original 1970's purchase receipt from "Eskimo Art Inc." in Ann Arbor, MI. Minor surface wear, natural veining across top and back of head. Approx. 7 x 10 x 10" high overall. ESTIMATE $400-600
