A pair of mid 19th century pressed glass Waisted Loop oil/fluid lamps with monument bases and shades, probably Boston & Sandwich Co. Alabaster/Clambroth, each has a domed font with six elongated loops about, raised on a hexagonal standard and two-tier monument base. Each is fitted with a metal collar, threaded mount converts lamp to electric, and surmounted by a cut glass "Argand" shade, featuring a grape motif, circa 1832-1840. Minor wear; one base has a fine vertical fracture, approx. 5" long; one shade with a rim chip. 20" high overall. ESTIMATE $300-500
