- Lot Description
Excellent 8x10 image of Babe Ruth swinging through in his New York Yankees uniform on this rare 1934 Quaker Oats large-format trading card used as a redemption photograph for customers in the period. A facsimile autograph and inscription appear on the lower portion of the image. "Presented to Members of Babe Ruth Base Ball Club By the Quaker Oats Company, Makers of Quaker Puffed Wheat and Puffed Rice" is titled below. The image is surrounded by nice, white borders with good corners.
Encapsulated "Authentic" by PSA, the jumbo card has some minor wear on the borders but would appear to grade at least FR 1.5 or GD 2 if resubmitted.
