- Lot Description
With a stout record of 62-20, the 1985 Lakers went on to beat the arch-rival Boston Celtics four games to two in the NBA Finals. One of the strongest lineups in NBA history, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, James Worthy and Magic Johnson led the way, as was to be expected. Johnson averaged an impressive fourteen assists per game in the finals to go along with 18.3 PPG and 6.8 RPG, while Abdul-Jabbar (25.7 PPG) and Worthy (23.7 PPG) supplied the bulk of the scoring.
Offered is a Magic Johnson 1985 Los Angeles Lakers NBA Championship salesman sample ring made up of 10K gold and genuine diamonds. The face of the ring features a Larry O'Brien made up of real diamonds set against a purple stone with the words "Los Angeles Lakers World Champions" encircling it. One shank has "JOHNSON," "1985," and the NBA logo. The other has "PURPLE REIGN," the Lakers logo, and the final 4-2 score of the Finals. The size 9.5 ring weighs 28.36 grams.
