- Lot Description
This lot offers a 1994 Derek Jeter Columbus Clippers pre-rookie game worn road jersey. Prior to being called up by the Yankees and winning AL ROY, Jeter played for the Columbus Clippers of the International League (Triple-A). During his 1994 minor league season, he batted.344 with 50 stolen bases and 68 RBI across three minor league levels. That same year he was named Minor League Player of the Year.
This scarce #24 example features "COLUMBUS" across the chest and "24" on the rear in tackle twill. The right arm sleeve features a 125th Anniversary of professional baseball patch. A Betlin MFG XXL tag is affixed in the collar of the jersey. Display solid wear overall. Includes LOA from the Clippers' clubhouse attendant, Tom Graney.
