- Lot Description
2024 first ballot Hall of Famer Joe Mauer spent his entire career with the Minnesota Twins. Regarded as one of the greatest contact hitters at the catcher position in his prime, Mauer is the only catcher in MLB history to win three batting titles, and the only backstop to ever win a batting title in the American League, period.
Offered here is a Joe Mauer 2014 Twins team issued home jersey autographed by the HOF catcher in bold black ink on his number "7" on the back. The size 48 Majestic jersey has the 2014 All-Star Game patch on the right sleeve. Mauer's signature has been authenticated by PSA/DNA. The piece is a part of the Brian Wilson collection offered in this auction.
