This ‘City Edition’ warmup set was issued to Nikola Jokić by the Denver Nuggets during the 2023–24 NBA season. Hailing from Serbia, Nikola Jokić has become a transformative force in the NBA since being selected 41st overall by the Nuggets in the 2014 NBA Draft. Representing a new era in Eastern European basketball, Jokić’s game combines elite skill with remarkable basketball IQ, distinguishing him as a leader of a generation leaving its mark on the league.
At the time of cataloging, his career averages stood at 21.8 points, 10.9 rebounds, and 7.2 assists per game. His rare combination of size, versatility, and play-making ability has made him one of the greatest big men in NBA history. During the 2024–25 season, Jokić achieved career highs in points and assists, averaging a triple-double for the season and becoming just the third player in NBA history to accomplish the feat. The three-time MVP and five-time 1st Team All-NBA selection is widely regarded as today's best player in the world.
This full warm-up outfit with specific player-issued tagging and attributes comes with a black shooting shirt and black pants. A unique "15 Nuggets" decal sticker with Jokić’s uniform number can be found within the shirt and pants tagging. The long-sleeved black shirt and black button-up pants both come in size XXL ("Extreme Tall" flag tags) with proper Nike labels and manufacturing date tags indicating March 2023. The shirt has "Denver" in gold across the front and "5280" (referencing the mile-high elevation) on the reverse in gold as well. The pants have the Nuggets logo patch on the right leg.
The Jokić warm-up outfit has been sourced through the Sotheby's NBA Auction partnership program. While each item is vaguely described as "issued to Nikola Jokić by the Denver Nuggets" on the letters of authenticity, both items may have been worn by the Nuggets center during warm-ups before a game or two. Minimal evidence of wear or being laundered. Includes two LOAs from NBA/Sotheby's (one for each item).
