- Lot Description
1975 was a great year for Ron Cey. The Dodgers' third baseman batted .283 with 25 home runs and 101 RBI. 1975 marked the second consecutive All Star campaign for Cey as well. For his efforts, the Los Angeles Dodgers Booster Club named him the Most Valuable Player for the 1975 Dodgers. Offered is the plaque presented to Cey by the club. The plaque shows an image of Cey at the plate with the words "RON CEY," "Most Valuable Player," "1975 Los Angeles Dodgers," and "As selected by Los Angeles Dodgers Booster Club." Accompanied by a Cey LOA as part of the Cey Collection in this auction.
