Six bottles Enzo Bianchi Gran Cru, vintage 1994.
Category: red wine. D.O.C. San Rafael, Mendoza (Argentina).
In 1887 Valentín Bianchi was born in Italy, giving birth to the history and tradition of Bodegas Bianchi. In 1910, when he was only 23 years old, his young audacity prompted him to leave the small town of Fasano and travel to Argentina, more precisely to San Rafael, in the province of Mendoza. He was an educated man, a teacher by profession.
In 1928, after years of effort and perseverance, he achieved one of his greatest dreams: to have his own vineyard and inaugurate a winery which he called El Chiche, "the small winery of great wines". Don Valentín's tireless vocation was never extinguished. Willing to make the best wines in the country, he imported European grape varieties and adapted them to the climatic and orographic characteristics of the San Rafael region. Thus, little by little, he forged a family winery whose name would become a true heritage of Argentina: Bodegas Bianchi.
