Pre-Columbian Tairona gold bird pendant, with a large hooked beak, beaded eyes with braid-work decoration and a crest of curled feathers, decorated with fine scroll and braid-work flanking the wings and braid-work across center and along crescent shape below; with seven suspension loops, one under the beak, tips of wings, tops of crescent-shape and two loops on the reverse. 3.75" H x 3.75" W x 1.5" D. Comprised of approx 45.09% gold (equivalent to 11K gold). Approx 32.8 dwt.
