  Belgian School, 19th Century
  
  Vue Prise à Durbuy...Chateau de la Comtesse d'Ursel
  Signed and dated "LeoHoogewys/1893" l.r., identified, signed, and dated ".../Par Leon Hoogewys/1893" on the reverse.
  Oil on canvas, 35 1/2 x 55 1/4 in. (90.2 x 140.3 cm), framed.
  Condition: Scattered minor retouch, craquelure, stretcher bar marks, canvas slightly slack on the stretcher, minor canvas deformation to l.l. corner, minor surface grime.

  Condition: Framed dimensions are 50 1/2 x 70 1/4 x 5 inches.
  The artist was not found while searching the name of Hoogewys or Hoogewijs.
  
  The full inscription on the reverse reads, "Vue Prise à Durbuy (L'ourthe)/du moulin de Triene/Chateau de la Comtesse d'Ursel/Par Leon Hoogewys/1893"
