Carved Cherry Linen Press, probably Connecticut, late 18th century, the top section with flat cove-molded cornice above doors with molded recessed panels, on a lower case of four thumb-molded drawers on bracket feet, all flanked by reeded lambrequin corners, old brasses, old refinish, (minor restoration), ht. 77 1/2, lower case wd. 42 1/2, lower case dp. 19 in.
full-length thumbmolding drawers, patch to upper left corner of lowest drawer. The right rear bracket has been repaired. Shrinkage cracks on the sides of the upper section. There are scattered stains, especially on the left side. The right side has a few spots of wood repair.
