Five Chromolithographs by Oscar Berningshaus (American, 1874-1952), titled "The Relief Train," "Westward Ho!," "Attack on an Emigrant Train," "A Fight for the Overland Mail," and "The Father of Waters," unframed, sight 8 1/2 x 17 1/2 in.
all exhibit minor staining and foxing, and the Westward Ho! and Attack on an Emigrant Train both have creasing. Westward Ho with large repaired tear, possible water staining resulting in rippling to several of the prints.
