"Franklin Dial" Weight-powered Table Clock, 20th century, the arch and glazed door opens to the brass dial with silvered center depicting the roman numerals within an engraved spiral, minutes shown on the outer diameter, the single hand revolves once in four hours with actual seconds shown at the top all against an engraved brass base plate, the brass one-day, five-wheel train movement utilizes the dial as the front plate with deadbeat escapement, maintaining power and powered by a pull-wind compounded lead weight and regulated by a pendulum, rear plate marked JF, bracket clock case of probable pear wood veneer with front, rear and side access doors, dome top, carrying handle and resting on four ball feet, ht. 18 1/2 in. with handle lowered.
