French .950 Silver Travel Dining Set, late 19th/early 20th century, maker's mark "EC," each piece with pendant putti swags and engraved floral motifs throughout, comprised of a napkin ring, dish, egg cup, egg spoon, hollow knife, spoon, fork, beaker, and child's rattle/whistle, approx. 28.8 troy oz. weighable silver, in original fitted case, marked for retailer Maison Jean Defour Freres.
Very minor surface wear, few minor scattered nicks, rattle missing one bell, minor loss to gilded areas. Otherwise in good overall condition.
Case with age typical wear to leather exterior, lacking applied element to lid. Interior with elements where egg-cup sits need to be reapplied.
