Gordo," probably America, dated 1803, stitched in silk on linen with four lines of alphabet and numbers above signature and date "JOANNA Y GORDO/Wrought this in the 13th year of her age/1803," two lines of verse and scene with a central basket of flowers flanked by birds and a tree on a lawn, all within a diamond and geometric border, unframed, ht. 12 3/4, wd. 10 1/2 in.
