Paint-decorated Walnut Box, possibly Pennsylvania, 19th century, nailed construction, old painted surface of black with borders and pinstriping in green and yellow, centering foliate decoration in red and yellow, the lid centering a small figure, ht. 5 1/4, wd. 14 3/4, dp. 8 1/4 in.
