Silk Greek Island Embroidered Valance and Bed Curtain, Rhodes, 17th/18th century, the valance comprised of a mostly empty linen panel with a single horizontal row of alternating red and blue-green circular motifs each with an archaic animal-form within, 2 ft. 3 in. x 6 ft. 9 in.; the bed curtain with rows of red, light blue, and medium blue vase and tree motifs, floral hooked diamond pattern appliqued over the top on the left side, 9 ft. 10 in. x 4 ft. 1 in. (at widest).
