Wegelin Fils 18kt Gold Two-tone Open-face Watch, silvered dial with applied Breguet numerals, sunk seconds at 6, Breguet-style hands, stem-wind, stem-set Cotes de Geneve movement with split bimetallic balance and Breguet overcoil, monogramed snap back case with a two-tone 18kt gold link chain, dia. 44.5 mm, 50.5g.
Provenance: Descended in the G. Fox & Co. family, owners of the largest department store that originated in Hartford, Connecticut, established in 1847 the company remained family-owned until 1965.Condition
Condition: winding setting and ticking, dial with scratches, oxidation nd staining to plates, chain wt. 7.8g. Watch wt. 50.5g. in the original leather-bound case. Case and movement marked 2210.
