Note: Tessiture Luigi Bevilacqua was incorporated in Venice in 1875. The Bevilacqua family was first involved with the production of silk in 1499. They currently use 17th and 18th century hand-worked looms for the production of the finest velvets, damasks, lampas and satins. The handmade velvets and other fabrics boast patterns drawn from their extensive archives, spanning from Byzantine art to Art Deco, with a total of 3,500 designs. They produce the finest hand-woven velvet's the world over and have collaborated with Swedish artist Maja Sjostrom who designed fabrics for Stockholm City Hall, numerous fabrics for the famous Basilica della Salute in Venice, a special restoration project for the Kremlin in Moscow, and Bagonghi handbags for Roberta di Camerino.
Both in very good condition with very minor wear. Expensively upholstered in Lucious Venetian Bevilacqua silk velvet. Ready to place.
