A blue and white 'palace' bowl painted with a frieze of lotus meander above a petal lappet band on the exterior and with a similar single lotus roundel in the interior, the base with six-character Guangxu seal mark and period. D:17.1cm
Provenance: Lots 68-84, Chinese porcelain from the Estate of Sear Hang Hwie Pao (1937-2009). Mr. Pao was one of Toronto’s most important dealers of Chinese porcelain and works of art. His antique store, Pao & Moltke Ltd., was a fixture in Toronto’s trendy Yorkville area for over thirty years.
