Machairodus giganteus, Miocene period (23-5 mya), Eurasia, a rare baby saber cat with two original, erupting transitional sabers and shed baby molars visible within the palate. The skeleton consists of the cat’s axis, atlas, three thoracic vests, a tibula and fibula, a partial foot, and an unidentified partial rear foot. The soul on this specimen has severe lateral compression, but both descending sabers are clearly visible. A custom steel stand included. Less than 10% restoration. Skull 7 1/2 in. Matrix 14 in. Long and 8 in. high
