- Lot Description
Circa 1490-1500, probably Saint Catherine, standing in exaggerated pose holding the Gospel in her left hand, a lock of hair falling over her shoulder. Her sword was not in the Sotheby's catalog photo, having been detached and temporarily misplaced, this according to original purchaser. Ht. 33 3/4 in. 86 cm.
