- Lot Description
Likely of Attic origin, circa 5th/4th century B.C., an elegant bowl sitting on short stemmed foot, with twin looped handles and a vibrant dark metallic glaze. Repair and possible restoration to one handle and small surface fill near inside rim. Assorted pocks and chips as shown. Wd. 10 1/2 in. across handles, 26.6 cm. ht. 3 3/16 in. 8.2 cm.
