Circa 1st/2nd century A.D., a fine thin walled glass bowl with flared rim, on a ring base, encrusted surface with excellent root marks. Dia. 9 in. 23 cm. Provenance: From the Newport estate of Peter Cooper, (The founder of Cooper Union Art School NYC, inventory number 'C.G. 1730.').
