Mexico, circa 500 B.C., a terracotta modeled female figure wearing only a thick collared necklace with a medallion resting between plump breasts, with enormous, crosshatched earrings and a textured headband, her hair finely incised with two clumps of bangs, facial details delicately modeled with open lips, traces of red and white pigment, the back surface encrusted. In good condition. Ht. 5 7/8 in.
