Mid 20th century, Tiwi Islands, Ratuati Irara, Northern Territory, standing on narrow legs without feet, the long, elongated torso decorated on the front with columns of painted dots, on an ochre ground, the rear pigmented white, with abbreviated arms, rounded shoulders and rounded head with painted features, mounted on a metal stand. Ht. 55 1/2 in.
