The Sterling silver ring with a round gold ball set to one side, signed "E. Cummings," and marked "14K." Ring size 9, 1 1/8 in. wide. Gross weight approximately 22g.

Edison Cummings (Diné, b. 1962)
Cummings has worked as a jeweler since the early 1990s. After graduating from Holbrook High School in Arizona and studying painting at the Institute of American Indian Arts, he shifted his focus to sculpture and jewelry. He later earned an art education degree at Arizona State University and spent five years at White Hogan in Scottsdale. Now based in Arizona, Edison creates contemporary, sculptural teapots and coffeepots using metal stretching techniques, as well as gold and silver jewelry with set stones. His work draws inspiration from architecture and everyday objects.
