- Lot Description
18th Dynasty, circa 1550-1292 B.C., a rare survival in wood from the golden age of Egyptian art, a male head wearing a tripartite striped wig, in good condition with pigment loss in places and minor abrasions. Ht. 5 7/8 in. 15 cm., ht. with base 5 3/4 in. wd. 4 1/2 in. 11.5 cm.
