The first carved and painted Maprik wood axe handle with anthropomorphic face at the angled head, featuring wide eyes, open mouth, and raised motifs in red and black pigments. The second carved and painted Humbolt Bay canoe prow in the form of a stylized bird head. Decorated in red, yellow, and black pigments. Ht. of first 25, dia. 10, ht. of second 13 ½, dia. 10 ½ in.
