Artist Bio: For the past several years, Joe Warren has pursued his passion for painting. Joe retired from Walt Disney Imagineering in 2013 and was with the company for 23 years as the Creative Lead producing art and illustration as well as managing a team of artists and designers. He also assisted with an artist development program which included plein air painting locally and in Montana. Prior to his tenure at Disney, Joe worked as a hospitality designer for Holiday Inns both domestically and internationally. In his varied experiences, Joe taught painting and was the head of the Art Department at Kenyatta University. He taught art at Wayne State University. He holds an MFA and MA in Art from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. In 2016, Joe and his wife Lori moved to Oakland, Florida, and have two children and four grandchildren, all in the central Florida area.
