framed size: 49 x 37Rijksmuseum had a competition whereby artists were asked to create an original piece of art based on one of the permanent pieces in the museum's collection. This portrait is my interpretation of a self portrait of van Gogh in the museum's collection.
Exhibits & Awards: Providence Art Club member show 2020; Greenwich Art Society group show 2020
Artist Bio: School of Visual Arts painting major. Member of American Artists Professional League; Allied Artists of America; Greenwich Art Society; Providence Art Club; Contemporary Art Network. Sing For Hope PopUp Piano exhibition (largest outdoor exhibition including all five New York city boroughs); largest mural ever created for the city of Stamford, CT; created two murals for China Merchants Bank on Madison Avenue in New York city. Currently working on a series of Black Lives Matter portraits created completely out of bandages.
