framed: 19.5 x 23.5Artist Bio: Laurie attended Kansas City Art Institute and majored in Painting. She transferred to the Rhode Island School of Design where she majored in Illustration. Her post graduate studies were with Bill Guida & Annette Hanna. She currently works as a painting & drawing teacher & fine artist. Ms. Harden teaches at the Morris Museum, Livingston Arts Association & Speakeasy Gallery.
Ms. Harden is a member of CLWAC, Pastel Society of America, Pastel Society of NJ, AAPL, The Art Centre of N.J., WEAA and the Arts Council of the Morris Area.
Her work is known both nationally and internationally, being in the collections of. the National Cancer Institute, Sloane Kettering Hospital, St. Barnabus Hospital, the late Japanese Prime Minister Keizo Obuchi, and the former N.J. Governor Brendan Byrne.
