- Lot Description
Circa 1920s-1960s. The three vintage Egyptian Assuit scarves/shawls of mesh weave hand-embellished with hammered silver squares in Art Deco geometric designs. The widest in khaki with a pattern of buildings and figures (approx. 80 1/2" x 32"); and two narrower scarves with diamond patterns, in salmon pink (approx. 86" x 14"), and white/cream (approx. 89" x 13 1/2"). All in overall good vintage condition; each with some areas of blackening/tarnishing to squares; the pink scarf with some slight fading/discoloring.
