- Lot Description
Three (3) self-published queer punk zines. Includes: Two copies of "DPN: Diseased Paraiah News," 1991. Issues 3 & 4. Included with the original wrap-around seal sheet with the artful content warning. 8 1/2 x 7"; together with "AGONY: Issue #1: Death, Pain, Alienation." Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based queer punk zine. Subtitled: "Yet Another Trendy 'Zine For Frustrated Fags & Dykes Everywhere.
An excerpt from the editor of 'AGONY,' B. Boofy, reads, "I hate everything. I'm 26 years old (which is about 177 in faggot years) and am trapped in this dying industrial scumhole city.... Just imagine: a world without Ralph Lauren, Whitney Houston, Tracy Chapman, tofu, 900 numbers, macrame, and tanning booths. Calgon, Take Me Away."
