- Lot Description
An exceptionally well executed period gallery portrait of: "Little Rose of Lyme Regis" by James Abbott McNeill Whistler (MFA Boston). Remnants of a gallery label on the stretcher: "George S..." Remnants of a gallery copy stamp upper right verso. 20 x 12 in.
Condition
One poor repair to the bottom right. A few scattered abrasions. The canvas is rippling and needs to be tightened on the stretcher. This painting would benefit from a light cleaning. The frame has been repainted and is in poor condition. Please note, this is not a full condition report.
