First edition, 1910 autobiography, "A Texas Pioneer: Early Staging and Overland Freighting Days on the Frontiers of Texas and Mexico" by August Santleben (1845-1911), an immigrant to Texas in 1847 who rode the mail route from Castroville to Bandera, Texas, twice a week at age 13 and later set up the first stagecoach and freight line to Mexico and El Paso
height 8.5 in. x width 5.5 in. x depth 1.5 in.
