Caliber: 56-46 RF
Barrel length: 32 in.
OAL: 49.25 in.
Condition: Good-Antique; wood stock & forend have moderate wear on the refinish; forend has split on right side extending from the frame; heavy octagon has nice brown patina color w/ some moderate wear; frame has gray/brown patina w/ scattered pitting; bore is mostly good & bright w/ some spots of pitting; strong rifling
Includes: heavy octagon barrel; German silver blade front sight; ramp rear sight; magazine tube in butt compartment; cleaning rod; saddle bar & ring; pewter forend cap; forend is secured w/ barrel pin; adjustment screw behind the trigger
Marked: top of frame is marked w/ 3-line address; serial number is behind the breech; barrel is marked "A.J. PLATE / SAN FRANCISCO CAL."
Provenance: Property from the collection of the late Marshall E. Kuykendall, of the former 101 Ranch in Hays County.
